Wild card weekend was one to remember for sure. With half the games being over before the Small Baller Podcast comes out with a new episode coming out on Sunday at 4 PM EST, we have the official Small Baller NFL Divisional Round Predictions here:
Saturday Games
Jaguars vs. Chiefs at 4:30 PM EST, Line: KC -8.5
Ben: 34-20 Chiefs, After a roller coaster of a game last week, the Jags are rewarded by playing the best team in the NFL in one of the toughest atmospheres. I think KC rolls over Jacksonville in this one and the Jags see their fantastic season come to an end.
Brandon: 30-23 Chiefs, This is not going to be an easy win for the Chiefs. I think the Jags have a very explosive offense that has the potential to keep this game really close. In the end, the Chiefs will be too overwhelming.
Trevor: 35-20 Chiefs, The Jaguars can’t afford to turn the ball over as they did against the Chargers. It will be loud at Arrowhead and the Jaguars' offense will struggle and find themselves playing catch-up the entire game.
Giants vs. Eagles at 8:15 PM EST, Line: PHI -7.5
Ben: 27-18 Eagles, Daniel Jones was fantastic in last week’s “upset” over Minnesota. I expect another good game from him but the Eagles have been a top-tier team all year and that’s not changing any time soon (with a healthy Jalen Hurts).
Brandon: Eagles 27-24, This is going to be a very close game. We have seen the Eagles' health decline bit by bit each week and the Giants are coming off a great performance. I very easily could see this game being flipped for a Giants win.
Trevor: 31-23 Eagles, This is a big test for Daniel Jones after he played the best game of his career last week. The Eagles will get enough pressure to make him uncomfortable and the Eagles will advance.
Sunday Games
Bengals vs. Bills 3:00 PM EST, Line: BUF -5.5
Ben: 28-23 Bills, We finally get the highly anticipated matchup, albeit this time in Buffalo. Injuries to Cincinnati’s offensive line are a big deal but with Joe Burrow, at QB there always seems to be a chance. The Bills pull this one out in a close game.
Brandon: 34-21 Bills, The Bengals did not look that great against my Ravens. I believe the Bills will be way too much for this iteration of the Bengals. I expect a big win.
Trevor: 27-24 Bills, I am concerned by the Bengals’ offensive line injuries and can’t fully get there with them in this game despite the struggling Buffalo defense. The Bills will hold on in what should be a fantastic game.
Cowboys vs. 49ers at 4:30 PM EST, Line: SF -4
Ben: 23-18 49ers, Dallas has their first real opponent in these playoffs after looking good in their exhibition last week against Tompa Bay. I will continue to believe in Brock Purdy because of the weapons around him (not to mention the fact that winning it all would bring up an interesting and hilarious conversation for next year).
Brandon: 31-30 49ers, We are gonna have quite a weekend for football and this game won't disappoint. I have the 49ers edging out the Cowboys but if Dak and the offense (minus Maher) play how they did against Tampa, they can easily take this game.
Trevor: 24-20 49ers, There is one word I’m thinking about when it comes to this game: creativity. On both sides of the ball, the 49ers are the smarter, more well-coached, and more creative team. They will catch Dallas off guard enough to get the victory.
