We are rapidly approaching the end of the season and it is time for every team in the league to look forward. Whether that is to the playoffs or the draft, teams are attempting to figure out how they can win more games. Today's theme will be what position I believe each team should add that would be a major improvement.

1. Philadelphia Eagles (12-1)

Position of need: DE

Although the Eagles have beefed up their weaknesses throughout the season, it is difficult to pinpoint a position of need. I went with DE even though they top the league in sacks so they can make a nice pairing with Brandon Graham.

2. Buffalo Bills (10-3)

Position of need: OL

With a generational QB like Josh Allen, it is time to make sure the offensive line is spotless. The Bills traded away starter G Cody Ford to the Cardinals in August so it might be time to strengthen the interior o-line.

3. Kansas City Chiefs (10-3)

Position of need: WR

The Chiefs have shown they are a great team without Tyreek Hill as Mahomes still has some good weapons. The Smith-Schuster experiment has shown to be somewhat successful. Saying this, I think it is time to get a bonified WR1 for Mahomes for the next four years to go alongside Travis Kelce.

4. Cincinnati Bengals (9-4)

Position of need: TE

The Bengals have done a fabulous job acquiring a ton of talent around Joe Burrow. Revamping the offensive line and drafting Chase and others were huge hits. I think it is time to address TE as a long-haul option. Hayden Hurst isn't bad but a high draft pick at TE is a perfect piece for Cincinnati.

5. San Francisco 49ers (9-4)

Position of need: DB

The front seven for the Niners have led one of the best defensive lines in the NFL. The passing defense has been a very different story. The Niners could use help from the safety or cornerback position and I expect them to hit up both positions in the upcoming draft.

6. Dallas Cowboys (10-3)

Position of need: WR

ESPN and others say CB is the biggest need for the Cowboys but I disagree. We have seen the Cowboys become more one-dimensional since the departure of Amari Cooper. CeeDee Lamb is good but a WR to go with him would make the Cowboys' offense more explosive.

7. Minnesota Vikings (8-4)

Position of need: QB

Kirk Cousins is a very good QB but he hasn't been enough to break the barrier and get to a Super Bowl. It is time the Vikings look forward to the future and find their new franchise QB.

8. Miami Dolphins (8-5)

Position of need: RB

The Dolphins are averaging 89.8 rushing yards per game this year and rank in the bottom five of the league in running the ball. It never really ends up going well when RBs are drafted in the first round but adding this element to the electric passing offense would be huge for the Dolphins.

9. Baltimore Ravens (9-4)

Position of need: WR

There are tons of jokes on the internet about Lamar being without weapons but they have some validity. When Rashod Batemen went down, Andrews is now the only option for the Ravens that is fully reliable. The Ravens should also think about the potential for life after Lamar Jackson as this might be the end of the road.

10. New York Jets (7-6)

Position of need: OL

The Jets' line has been hit hard with injuries. Great NFL teams have great offensive lines so the Jets will be spending money this offseason. I think the Jets will want to protect their future QB and Breece Hall for the long term.

11. Los Angeles Chargers (7-6)

Position of need: WR

The Chargers began the year with huge potential and then they got annihilated by injuries. Keenan Allen and Mike Williams have missed a combined 11 games this season so it is time to get a reliable third option for Justin Herbert.

12. Tennessee Titans (7-6)

Position of need: Offensive Weapons

The Titans let AJ Brown go to the Eagles which in hindsight seems like a huge mistake. The offense lacks depth past Derrick Henry and majorly needs some help at WR and TE to inject some personality into the offense.

13. Washington Commanders (7-5-1)

Position of need: QB?

Taylor Heinicke has taken over this offense and led the team to a somewhat decent position to make the playoffs. However, not all agree on Heinicke being the long-term solution for this team. The reason I write "QB?" is because maybe they ride it out with Heinicke and see if he can lead them to a playoff run.

14. New England Patriots (7-6)

Position of need: WR or OL

The pick here depends on how the Patriots handle their off-season. If they extend their tackles, the WR position is the easy draft or sign but there is a chance they let some offensive linemen walk. In which case, expect the Patriots draft to be linemen-heavy.

15. New York Giants (7-5)

Position of need: WR

The Kardiarius Toney and Kenny Galloway experiments didn't work out leaving the Giants and Daniel Jones in desperate need of a WR. The flashes from Jones and the Giants show a couple more pieces would put them in a good position to make some noise.

16. Seattle Seahawks (7-6)

Position of need: DL

The Seahawks rank second to last in rushing defense allowing 160 yards per game and rank in the bottom ten in total yards given up. A big part of this is winning the battle at the line of scrimmage so expect the Seahawks to address these positions.

17. Detriot Lions (6-7)

Position of need: QB

Jared Goff can be a serviceable QB in the NFL, especially with the limited weapons he has at his disposal with this offense. I expect the Lions to finally look toward their first franchise QB since Matthew Stafford was drafted in 2009.

18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-7)

Position of need: CB

The Bucs have had a great unit of cornerbacks but they won't be able to keep them all. After a rather unimpressive year out of the DBs of Tampa, it is time to move on and acquire more guys to reload.

19. Green Bay Packers (5-8)

Position of need: WR

Get this man Aaron Rodgers a weapon on offense. Devante Adams was a huge loss and his absence is still being felt. I fully expect the Packers to upgrade at almost every single offensive position outside of RB.

20. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-8)

Position of need: WR

Another team that needs to give their QB weapons is the Jags. Trevor Lawrence is throwing TDs to Zay Jones and Christan Kirk. A young pass catcher would make a great improvement to this team and Lawrence.

21. Atlanta Falcons (5-8)

Position of need: QB

After drafting Kyle Pitts and Drake London, the Falcons really have nothing to show for it. A significant need is at QB and they are finally planning for life after Matt Ryan.

22. Arizona Cardinals (4-9)

Position of need: OL

Kyler Murray needs to be protected. After his injury last week, the Cardinals must protect him by going OL. Arizona ranks in the bottom half of the league in sacks given up, so I expect major attention come off-season time.

23. Las Vegas Raiders (5-8)

Position of need: QB

The Raiders should look to move on from Derek Carr and look to their future. Enough has been shown where Derek Carr will not take the Raiders to the next level and in that case, a younger and cheaper QB is the route they should go.

24. Cleveland Browns (5-8)

Position of need: DL

The Browns have one of the worst defensive lines in the league. Miles Garrett is the shining star in a rather poor sky but especially when the likelihood of Clowney staying is going down. Reinvesting into the defensive line will help Garrett and the Browns for years to come.

25. Chicago Bears (3-10)

Position of need: WR

Justin Fields has started to come into his own and now it is about finding playmakers around him. David Montgomery is a free agent, and their weak receiving corps shows that an offensive weapon is in the cards.

26. New Orleans Saints (4-9)

Position of need: QB

One of the most glaring needs of any team in the NFL is the Saints at QB. Drew Brees left a gigantic-sized hole in this team's offense and it is finally time to address the position. With even a mediocre QB, the Saints will improve a lot.

27. Indianapolis Colts (4-8-1)

Position of need: QB

A very similar story to the Saints but with Andrew Luck and the Colts. Not too much more to add here but a QB is in the sights whether that's free agency or the draft, will be soon discovered.

28. Los Angeles Rams (4-9)

Position of need: OL

The Rams sold their soul for the championship last year and now do not have first-round picks while being in a tough cap spot. It will be an uphill battle to improve any part of the team.

29. Denver Broncos (3-10)

Position of need: DE

With Bradley Chubb sent to the Dolphins, another spot alongside Randy Gregory needs to be filled. The Broncos have given a ton of draft capital to the Seahawks so this will be a vital off-season.

30. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-8)

Position of need: OL

Najee Harris has shown so many flashes of greatness over his young career, but it has been stopped short by the offensive line's ability. Pittsburgh's long success has always leaned on an amazing offensive line.

31. Carolina Panthers (5-8)

Position of need: QB

Carolina is in desperate need of a new QB. This is an obvious fact and I expect a 1 and 2 in the draft to be QBs.

32. Houston Texans (1-11-1)

Position of need: QB

Not much to say as this team needs a ton of players but QB is the glaring issue. The Texans are many pieces away from being good but a QB is a very good start.
